March 28, 2012 –La Paz is far behind now, a distant memory, as is Hector The Collector, we have spent 2 days on the water at Juncalito and a couple of days in Mulege.
Time is marching on and everyone keeps building great Baja memories. We left for Ray’s after a short tour in downtown Mulege, a stop for purified water and a short visit to friends in the Orchard. When we arrived at Ray’s we had a tour Rob & Terri’s new house, very impressive for sure, we are confident they will be happy in there new wonderful local. Mulege has so much more to offer than Bahia De Los Angeles for those staying for many months.
We were very fortunate that Ray opened just for our group of Baja Amigos, the dinner was fabulous, a seafood platter like none of the group had ever seen before. This was truly a memorable evening, great food, great people, great atmosphere. Who could ask for more!
Today we had a tour to the Mulege lighthouse, the Loma Linda Hotel, the newly completed Malecon, the former prison and now Museum and finally the Santa Rosalia Mission. We also made time for some serious pool side leisure at the Hotel Serenidad our favourite place to stay when we stay in Mulege.
Tomorrow off we go again northward bound for the last time this season, we are heading home.
