Day 9 – Loreto

Shel always has fun!

January 12, 2012 – It has been a while since I blogged, things have been busy for sure, all is good.  Baja has been more like November or March, instead of January, however no one is complaining. After a couple of minor vehicle glitches we have had smooth sailing, sunny days and relatively hot weather.  We had our Fiesta Dinner at Marv & Shel’s place, the musicians were great and all who attended really enjoyed the entertainment.

Our entrance to Loreto was made even more interesting as they have ripped up the Malecon, so most of it was closed to any vehicle traffic, always exciting to learn this 100′ away with 7 RVs behind you. We did prevail and safely made our way to the Rivera del Mar RV Park. The day before we had our Pot Luck at Santispac where Bruce & Marian joined us and brought fire wood, we all enjoyed the warm fire as it cooled down quite a bit after the sun set.  Today we are off to the San Javier Mission, one of my favourites for sure.

Santispac with a fire, what could be better?
